The Dan Gray Memorial Flying Field
About Us
The Brazos Valley R/C Club is a small group of dedicated modelers and pilots. We try to foster a laid back atmosphere that is welcoming to anyone wanting to fly everything from trainers to aerobatic 3D planes. Bring out your nitro, gas, electric, and even unpowered aircraft and enjoy the hobby with us.
The club has experienced trainers who can help new pilots learn to fly and choose equipment to get started.
Visitors are always welcome while at least one regular club member is present. If you are a visiting pilot and have AMA membership, the club allows you to fly a few times before expecting that you pay auxiliary member dues.
Meetings are at the field on the first Saturday of the month at 10:00 AM.

After turning onto FM 2776 from Hwy 21, travel ~1/3 of mile and our entrance is on the left. It is a gravel driveway and the gate is inset amongst the treeline. The outside gate will be closed to prevent the cattle from escaping but will usually be unlocked if members are present at the actual flying field. For new visitors, please keep the outside gate closed after going through.
